Canticum Phoenix
Post mortem,
per potentiam Domini
anima volat
cum corpore
sicut Phoenix.
Lucis auctor has granted us
that we may attain
gaudia in celo
that we may in the maxima regna
live in the delight of lucis et pacis
and see the Lord of Victories
sine fine
with laude perenne
blessed amid the angels.
Alleluia, Phoenix, alleluia!
per potentiam Domini
anima volat
cum corpore
sicut Phoenix.
Lucis auctor has granted us
that we may attain
gaudia in celo
that we may in the maxima regna
live in the delight of lucis et pacis
and see the Lord of Victories
sine fine
with laude perenne
blessed amid the angels.
Alleluia, Phoenix, alleluia!
